Adelina Zendejas. Born 1909 in Toluca, Mexico Died 1993 in Mexico City.
Adelina was a teacher, journalist and feminist who wrote for many magazines including Excélsior, El Nacional, El Popular and El Universal and many of her articles were about women's and children's rights and the need for education. She was one of the first to discuss inequalities between the sexes and women's social status. In 1988 she received the National Journalism Prize
