Marie Salomea Skłodowska Curie, born as Maria Salomea Skłodowska but better known as only Marie Curie. She was born November 7th, 1867 in Warsaw, Poland, died July 4, 1934 in France.
Marie was a Polish physicist and chemist who did groundbreaking research and discoveries on radioactivity. She was the first woman to win a Nobel Prize and the first person and the only woman to win the Nobel Prize twice! and is the only person to win the Nobel Prize in two different scientific fields. She was also the first woman to become a professor at the University of Paris, and in 1995 she also became the first woman to be buried for her own merits at the Panthéon in Paris.
